Assisi Seva Sadan Hospital is owned and managed by ASSISI SEVASADAN TRUST, Nagepalli, belonging to the Religious Congregation of the Assisi Sisters of Mary Immaculate originated in Kerala, South India. The Congregation was founded by late Msgr. Joseph Kandathil in 1949 with a charism of following the Humble, Poor and Crucified Christ by radiating his compassionate love through the joyful service to the poor, sick and the marginalized of the society.
Assisi Sevasadan Hospital was started as a dispensary in 1969 at Nagepalli. In 1973 it became a hospital with a view of imparting holistic health care to the people of this locality irrespective of their caste and creed.
